It all started with Laura and Joe Napolitano, the founders of Back In Time…
What began as a simple love for all things vintage soon turned into a heartfelt mission: to find, rescue, and repurpose American vintage treasures and one-of-a-kind finds. With every item we uncover, there's a sense of history, craftsmanship, and charm that deserves to live on. Every piece has a journey, and every journey tells a story sometimes forgotten, sometimes passed down, but always worth sharing.
They express that the people they have met and continue to meet on this journey are the most rewarding and enjoyable part of this experience. One of the most meaningful parts of our upcycling process is connecting with people hearing their memories, learning the backstories, and discovering how a piece once played a role in someone’s life. It’s in these shared stories that we find the real magic. There's always something familiar that sparks nostalgia, and we believe that connection is what makes each piece truly special.
They offer fun events, a few to mention are weekend markets, DIY classes, seasonal events, nighttime shopping, and paint workshops. The holidays are always extra fun and over the top. They work hard to go above and beyond to create a wonderful, memorable experience.
Their space is filled with wonderful oldies playing throughout, helping you step back in time. With two of their three daughters joining their journey, Jenna, their middle daughter, offers delicious fresh pastries, baked daily in the back of their shop at Elise’s Niece’s Café, filling the store with a wonderful aroma. She also offers a small corner bar, Cobb’s Corner Bar, serving beer, wine, and champagne. In the fall and winter, you’ll find a fire pit blazing to cozy up next to. Their oldest daughter, Taylor, has recently joined the team with imaginative play just steps away in their newly transformed barn at The Schoolhouse Play and Café. You’ll find their third daughter, Madison, jumping in and helping out when she can. A true family-owned and run business. It’s a one-stop family fun location! Their shared vision continues to grow—rooted in love, driven by passion, and grounded in community.
We hope the items you find Back In Time not only speak to your sense of style and history but also become a part of your own unique story, one that continues to evolve with time.
